Here are five ways to get involved
Delivering handbills. This is my main effort. We’re not asking you to door knock, we are looking for volunteers to deliver my campaign pamphlet to people’s mailboxes in every neighbourhood in the City. If you’d like to do your block, your neighbourhood or more, reach out to medhatkris@gmail.com.
Put up a lawn sign. If you’d like to put up a sign on your lawn or help to deliver lawn signs, reach out to medhatkris@gmail.com.
Donate $20. We need at least 250 people to donate $20 to cover current costs. I’m accepting a maximum of $20/person to keep donations affordable for everyone. This way all donors are equal. You can send an e-transfer to: medhatkris@gmail.com.
I am also planning to post my donors on this website during the election so it’s transparent who and how much people are donating to my campaign. Donor disclosures are officially required by March 1, 2026. But I do think it’s nice to see this information during the campaign.
Host me at your house with a few of your friends. I’ve found small groups are the best way to have productive conversations. You’d be responsible for inviting a few of your friends so we can talk about the issues. Reach out to arrange a time.
Setting the tone. Elections tend to highlight only the problems in our communities. We shouldn’t forget all the good things. It is a difficult time for many, but we have everything we need to get through it. Let’s celebrate our strengths while we have productive conversations about the challenges ahead.
